I was organizing my laptop (usually in the pictures folder is chaos) and I’ve found some pictures from two weeks ago, I forgot about them. I like to organize my pictures in folders (after location and dates) and sometimes I put them everywhere and after that I have to spend several hours to sort them.

I’ve been in a wonderful place, near Rotterdam, it’s called Kinderdijk (Childrens dike). It’s situated at the confluence of two rivers and in 1740 they built a system of 19 windmills to drain the terrain. In Kinderdijk, there’s the biggest concentration of windmills from Holland and since 1997 it’s part of UNESCO. People live inside the windmills and one of them can be visited.

It’s extraordinary, you are surrounded by windmills, channels, the air is fresh, you get detached from the big city, negative thoughts, you just enjoy that you are in an amazing and relaxing place.

Macho managed to follow us, even if we walked a lot, he had a lot of fun and after we arrived home he slept until the next day. It was an amazing day and  I hope you’ll enjoy the pictures. You can follow me by e-mail to receive on e-mail the last posts or you can Like my Facebook Page (here) to know everything that happens on the blog. I want to thank everyone of you for all the comments and views, every morning when I check my e-mail or my blog, I become really glad.
