Se comercializeaza in primul rand cascaval si obiecte prelucrate manual (saboti olandezi, pipe, ceramica), legume, fructe, vafe.

I enjoy it everytime I go to Gouda, because it’s one of my favorite cities in Netherlands. Firstly, Gouda is known for its cheese, the Gouda chesse (my favorite one), and secondly for the smoking pipes and the gothic townhall built in the  XV th century. It’s a really quiet city, it lacks the agitation that characterizes Rotterdam. You can walk for hours on the narrow streets, along the channels, lined by old buildings, invaded by nice cafes and restaurants with welcoming smells. You can’t miss the stores with various types of cheese, organized on types, age and size. From july until august, every thursday, they organize a market attended by small producers who have their businesses around Gouda. Their main products are cheese and handmade objects (dutch clogs, smoking pipes, ceramics), vegetables, fruits, waffles. I can’t wait to visit the cheese market, the dream of every cheese lover.
